PACA 14TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: OCT. 16-18, 2009


PACA is the Picture Archive Council of America, the trade organization in North America that represents the interests of stock archives of every size, from individual photographers to large corporations, who license images for commercial reproduction. Founded in 1951, its membership includes over 100 companies in North America and over 50 international members.

The 2009 International Conference will take place at the Eden Roc, A Renaissance Resort & Spa in Miami, which is listed as one of The New York Times' "53 Places to Go" in 2008.

Christina Vaughan elected as President of the European Trade body, CEPIC

Christina Vaughan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Image Source, the world’s leading producer of royalty free stock imagery, is elected as the new president of CEPIC.

CEPIC, the Coordination of European Picture Agencies Press Stock Heritage, announced the result of the official committee members’ vote at their annual congress in Dresden, Germany. CEPIC represents over 1,000 picture sources in Europe, providing the single united voice for the photographic industry.

Christina becomes the youngest ever President to head CEPIC, the first woman and the first person of mixed heritage in the role.
